In accordance with Government guidelines we are able to offer funding for the following…

2 Year Old Funding is now available for 12 hours per week, over 47 and a half weeks a year.

Children are eligible for funding from the term after their 3rd birthday until they go to Primary School. The government funds 15 hours, free for term time only. This can be taken at any point during our opening hours.

3-4 year funding

Children in Pre-school will be eligible to receive 15hrs per week, free funded hours during term time, this will take effect from the term after their 3rd birthday, and may be taken between the hours of 715am-6pm, Monday to Friday, we will provide the relevant paperwork for you to apply for the funding.  We also provide 30 hours funding which you will need to apply through childcare choices online and you will receive an 11 digit number which you will need to bring in to the setting so we can verify through our online system, we will then let you know if you are eligible.

If you are eligible, 30 hours is available for 38 weeks of the year (just like the existing 15 hours scheme). Some providers will allow you to ‘stretch’ your 30 hours entitlement over 52 weeks, using fewer hours per week.

Your child can start in their childcare place the term after they turn 3 years old and have received a valid 30 hours code, whichever is later. Term start dates are 1st September, 1st January and 1st April.  To keep your 30 hours free childcare place you need to check your details are up to date every 3 months.

The 30 hours free childcare offer is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables (such as nappies or sun cream), additional hours or additional activities (such as trips).  Please see fees for additional information.
